Stroke Center open house is May 20

Every three minutes, someone dies from a stroke or brain attack. It takes only 10 minutes to complete a free stroke screening. In honor of National Stroke Awareness Month, Penn State Stroke Center will offer a public open house with free stroke screenings from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, in the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center anteroom. The open house will include tours of the new neuro angiography suite where the latest, cutting-edge procedures are performed for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of stroke. Penn State Stroke Team experts will be on hand to answer questions about stroke protection. For more information, call (800) 243-1455.
