Another arts festival comes to a close

July 16, 2007

The 41st annual Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts ended Sunday evening, after a successful weekend of arts, entertainment, food and fun. Children's Day opened the festivities Wednesday, July 11, in downtown State College and on Penn State's University Park campus, and the main festival ran Thursday, July 12, through Sunday, July 15. During that span, the arts festival expected to bring more than 125,000 people to the area to celebrate the arts with its nationally recognized Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition, a gallery exhibition, and music, dance and theatrical performances in a variety of traditional and non-traditional venues.

Penn State Live's photographers were out in full force to cover the festival.
