The 41st Annual Uniform Commercial Code Institute, titled "The UCC, Technology, and E-Commerce," will take place on April 17, 18 and 19 in Washington, D.C. Organized by Professor Louis DelDuca and sponsored by the law school, the conference will include panels on electronic contracting under the UCC, hot topics in secured transactions, foreign and cross-border secured financing, and developing issues in privacy, data security and identity theft prevention. Among others, distinguished faculty includes: Mary F. Walrath, chief judge, the U.S. States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware; Albert Kreitzer, executive secretary of the Pace Institute of International Law, Pace Law School; and Barkley Clark, Stinson Morrison Hecker LLP.
