Research Unplugged to feature six speakers

University Park, Pa. — The 10th season of Research Unplugged, featuring six Penn State professors discussing intriguing topics in their fields of study, begins at noon Wednesday (March 19) at the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center with Abhay Ashtekar, Eberly professor of physics, addressing "Physics Beyond Einstein: Contemplating Time's Beginning and End."

The downtown speaker series, presented by the Office of Research Publications, is an informal forum open to the general public. Each event will feature a Penn State professor speaking about an interesting aspect of the field he or she studies. The series runs from March 19 to April 23 and the seminars take place every Wednesday at noon at the Penn State Downtown Theatre Center. Coffee and light refreshments are also served at each event .
