Violinist Perlman makes Eisenhower appearance

Violinist Itzhak Perlman returned to Penn State for the first time in more than 14 years to perform a recital with pianist Rohan De Silva  Tuesday, April 1, in Eisenhower Auditorium, University Park. The concert was rescheduled from Sept. 27, due to Perlman’s illness. Perlman's virtuoso performance included Bach's Sonata No. 3 in E Major for Violin and Keyboard, Strauss' Sonata for Violin and Piano in E-flat Matjor, Op. 18 and Poulenc's Sonata for Violin and Piano.
