Heard on Campus: Ann Coulter at HUB Alumni Hall

"When I'm asked about giving college speeches, I always cite Penn State as the most impressive college I've spoken at. The last time I was here, I took questions for two hours. At the end, I said I couldn't tell if it was Republicans or Democrats who were asking the questions — they were just asking really good, smart questions."

— Ann Coulter, speaking Wednesday (April 2) night at Alumni Hall in HUB-Robeson Center on Penn State's University Park campus. Coulter, the controversial conservative commentator, spoke to a packed standing-room crowd of more than 1,000 people, including a large contingent of fans, but also some detractors. Coulter's appearance was sponsored by the Penn State chapter of Young Americans for Freedom, Young America's Foundation and the University Park Allocation Committee. Coulter last appeared at Penn State in 2004.
