Chelsea Clinton to visit University Park April 10

Chelsea Clinton will attend an "Our Economy, Our Future" event at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, April 10, on the HUB lawn at University Park. Clinton is appearing in support of her mother Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign for the Democratic presidential primary. She will be discussing her mother's record of achievement, followed by a question-and-answer session.

Chelsea Clinton joins the rest of her family in making Penn State visits, including a previous stop Thursday, April 3, at Penn State Hershey. Former president Bill Clinton spoke at at Penn State Altoona April 3, University Park on March 27 and at Penn State Brandywine on March 7. His visit comes on the heels of Sen. Barack Obama's visit to University Park on March 30, and Sen. Hillary Clinton's stop at Penn State Fayette on Monday, March 24. The visits are part of Penn State's effort to expose students to the 2008 presidential campaign, part of the University's open-door policy to host campaign stops during this primary season.
