Study looks for volunteers who like walnuts

A nutrition research study is seeking participants who enjoy eating  walnuts.  People may qualify for this study if:

-- They are a non-smoking male or female, 21-60 years of age, body mass index of 25-39, with moderately elevated cholesterol levels.

-- They are interested in participating in a research study evaluating the effects of eating different walnut components in a test meal on blood vessel function and other heart disease risk factors.

 -- They do not have diabetes or other serious health conditions.

-- They are not allergic to any nuts.

-- They are not taking cholesterol or blood pressure lowering medications  or supplements, or taking anti-inflammatory medication regularly.

-- If they are female, they are not pregnant, recently pregnant or lactating.
