New Cardiac Rehab and Wellness facility grand opening Oct. 1

Penn State Hershey Heart and Vascular Institute will celebrate the opening of its new Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness Center Oct. 1 in the newly remodeled West Campus Health and Wellness Center on the campus of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. The event will begin at 1 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Medical Center leadership, Heart and Vascular Institute faculty and patients. An open house with self-guided tours, equipment demonstrations, and refreshments will follow until 3 p.m. The Medical Center has been on the cutting edge of cardiac rehabilitation and wellness for more than 30 years. The new facility will enable patients recovering from (or at risk for) cardiovascular disease to continue to receive comprehensive care.
