Harleman lecture to focus on vegetation's impact on water resources

The annual Donald R.F. Harleman Lecture in Water Resources Engineering welcomes Heidi Nepf, professor of civil and environmental engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, at 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 16 in 102 Thomas Building to discuss water resources.

The lecture is titled “How vegetation alters water motion, and the feedbacks to environmental system structure and function.” The series is an effort to broaden the scope of faculty and students in the Water Resources Engineering program by providing contact with outstanding researchers and practitioners from outside the University.

Refreshments will be provided at 4 p.m.
