Victor Sparrow, professor of acoustics, has been elected an associate Fellow by the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA). To be elected, nominees must have at least 12 years of professional experience in their field and be recommended by a minimum of three current AIAA associate Fellows. Sparrow will be honored at the 47th AIAA Aerospace Sciences Meeting, during the AIAA Associate Fellows dinner, on Jan. 5 in Orlando, Fla.
