The 94th annual Berks County Cooperative Extension Association board of directors meeting will be held from to 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, in the Perkins Student Center Multipurpose Room at Penn State Berks.
The meeting will open with remarks from Penn State Berks Chancellor Susan Phillips Speece and continue with Penn State Berks faculty and staff presentations highlighting recent cooperative extension efforts. Walt Fullam, director of Continuing Education; Hassan Gourama, associate professor of food science; and David Sanford, associate professor of horticulture; are among the faculty and staff who will share their experiences with cooperative extension partnerships.
Following the presentations will be a brief business meeting, electing officers for the coming year and welcoming new representatives. The evening will conclude with an ice cream social featuring Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream.
