Entrepreneurship students to hold business-launching event

The three student founders of PawZmatic, a collegiate-licensed magnet company born at Penn State, will hold a business-launching event on Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 5:30 p.m. in Kunkle Lounge, located on the east end of Hammond Building.

PawZmatic was established two years ago by manufacturing management graduate student Nichole Lopes, industrial engineering senior Greg Kester and Carlos de la Rosa (CE '06). All three are or will be graduates of the engineering entrepreneurship minor. The company has recently launched three collegiate-licensed products, which are currently being sold in several stores in downtown State College.

The event will include a meet-and-greet with the company founders. Students interested in pursuing the entrepreneurship minor or starting their own business are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be provided. There will be magnet giveaways, and students will have the chance to purchase PawZmatic magnets at half price.

For more information about PawZmatic or the business launching event, contact Nichole Lopes at PawZmatic@gmail.com.
