United Way campaign a success

The 2008 United Way campaign has come to a close. This year, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Penn State College of Medicine employees raised a total of $192,962 for the area chapters of the United Way, funding that is critical to social services organizations during this difficult economy. The United Way Oversight Committee would like to thank the department champions and everyone who participated in this year’s campaign. After the first of the year, information will be available about participating in a spring United Way Day of Caring.
