Heard on Campus: Penn State Laureate Kim Cook

January 23, 2009

"When students take trips to Europe or major cities in the United States, they get to play in a first-class concert hall. That's one of the most valuable experiences they can have as students. When they hear the resonance of the hall and the way their music sounds there, it's very inspiring to them."

-- Kim Cook, Penn State laureate, speaking about the upcoming President's Concert, scheduled for Feb. 17 at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. Cook spoke at the Penn State Forum lunch on Friday, Jan. 23. For information about the President's Concert, visit http://live.psu.edu/story/36885.
