Civil engineering seminar to focus on changes in lower Mississippi

University Park, Pa. -- Clinton Wilson, associate professor of civil and environmental engineering at Louisiana State University, will present "Large-Scale River and Sediment Diversions in the Lower Mississippi River," at 12:20 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, in 220 Hammond Building, at University Park.

Wilson will discuss his research group's physical and numerical modeling work of the lower Mississippi River system and how it may be used to study long-term changes in the lower river and adjacent wetland systems.
