University Park, Pa. -- The Coaches vs. Cancer annual 5K Run/Walk around the Penn State campus is fast approaching. The 5K will begin at 11 a.m. April 18 at the IM Building on the University Park campus.
Registration costs $15 and includes a free t-shirt for the first 500. There will be a spaghetti dinner the Friday before the race which is free for runners and $5 for family and friends. There will also be raffle prizes and food on the day of the race.
All proceeds are donated to the American Cancer Society. Sign up to run or walk today, because every participant makes a difference. Last year the race raised nearly $10,000 for families suffering from cancer.
