Eighth Annual Undergraduate Research Fair set for April 1

The Eighth Annual Penn State Beaver Undergraduate Research Fair will be held Wednesday, April 1, in the Student Union Building. The event is designed to highlight student scholarship and research conducted on campus and showcases student presentations of in-depth, original scholarly work and research. Projects are invited from all academic disciplines, including business, humanities, liberal arts, social sciences, physical sciences, mathematics and computer science.   

The top two oral presentations and the top two poster presentations will be announced that day. Winners will receive cash rewards of $150 for first prize in the oral/poster presentation and $100 for second prize in the oral/poster presentation. Winners will be honored at the annual Penn State Beaver Awards Banquet in April.

The application and abstract submission deadline is Friday, March 6. Abstract and registration forms must be approved and submitted by the student’s research advisor. To register or obtain more information, visit http://www.br.psu.edu/Academics/ugradresearch.htm?cn21C.
