Big Ten Wrestling Championships available as Pay Per View event

University Park, Pa. — The 2009 Big Ten Wrestling Championships will be available as a Pay Per View event via www.GoPSUsports.com, Penn State's official athletic website for just $9.95. The Big Ten Wrestling Championships, the nation's top wrestling qualifier, are being hosted by Penn State in the Bryce Jordan Center on March 7-8. This weekend's pay-per-view broadcast will utilize the raw video feed that will be shown on the Bryce Jordan Center's video boards. With four mats to cover on Saturday and three mats on Sunday, no single bout is guaranteed coverage as only one mat can be covered at a time. The Pay Per View event is designed to give fans from across the world who cannot attend the tournament a glimpse into how the nation's top national qualifier is progressing. Since the 2009 Big Ten Wrestling Championship Finals are being aired live on the Big Ten Network, the finals will not be part of the pay per view product.

The 2009 Big Ten Championships will begin on Saturday, March 7, with a session at 11 a.m. Saturday's evening session begins at 6 p.m. Sunday's action, featuring placing bouts, starts at 12 p.m.
