Seminar addresses issues affecting urban-dwelling indigenous peoples

University Park, Pa. -- Yoshitaka Iwasaki, professor of therapeutic recreation in the College of Health Professions at Temple University, will present the Interinstitutional Consortium for Indigenous Knowledge (ICIK) seminar at noon Wednesday, March 25, in 502 Keller Building on Penn State's University Park campus.

Iwasaki's seminar topic will be "Cultural Activities and Health Among Urban-Dwelling Indigenous Peoples in a Global Context." This seminar is co-sponsored by the ICIK and the Leisure, Health and Well-Being, and Culture and Diversity Labs, Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Management.
