University Park, Pa. — Students can join Residence Life in welcoming the Fall 2009 First Year class, transfer students and change of campus students to University Park by becoming Welcome Week Leaders or Hall Haulers.
Welcome Week Leaders and Hall Haulers play an essential role in welcoming students to campus. Participation provides the opportunity to return to campus early while enhancing leadership skills and expanding knowledge of campus resources and services. Volunteers have the chance to meet new students and make new friends, work with motivated student staff of diverse backgrounds, interact with faculty and staff and participate in fun events with free food, entertainment and giveaways.
