Be a Penn State student for a day in April

March 26, 2009

High school seniors and juniors have two more opportunities — April 1 and 15 — to take part in Penn State York’s Be a Penn State Student for a Day program. Students can learn first-hand what it is like to be a Penn State York student. The program begins at 8 a.m. in the Community Room of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center and concludes at 2 p.m.

Students will be paired with a current Penn State York student and sit in on classes, tour the campus and spend the day just like a college student. Lunch is provided free in the Lion’s Den Café at the campus. The program allows students to experience college life and get to know the campus. Call Penn State York Admissions at (717) 771-4040 or (800) 778-6227 to register at least one week prior to the desired date of attendance attend.  Students can also register online by going to and visiting admissions.
