Third Annual Arts Crawl is growing bigger and better

University Park, Pa. -- The Third Annual Arts Crawl, an open house-style event in the College of Arts and Architecture, will take place from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Friday, April 3. Free and open to the public, the event will feature exhibits of student work, music by local bands, hands-on activities, demonstrations, dance performances and refreshments. Events will be held in the Visual Arts, Patterson, Arts, Stuckeman Family and Borland buildings, as well as the Palmer Museum of Art.

Presented by Students Organized for the Multiple Arts (SOMA) and the Visual Arts Student Alliance (VASA), the Arts Crawl will include live music from more than 11 local bands such as The Lampshades, Fiddler Crabs, Some Downtown Avenue and Jordan O' Jordan; art displays; dance performances by the Penn State Belly Dancing Club and the Dance Alliance; juggling by Out of Hand Entertainment; and the Sculpture Club 2009: Space Odyssey movie premiere. Musicians Jason O' and Nodd Morris will perform at the Palmer Museum.
