Arts Crawl shows community campus creativity

University Park, Pa. -- Arts Crawl, the annual spring showcase at University Park of all the arts Penn State has to offer, as well as a night of local music, is an open-house style event for all students, faculty, alumni and community members, set for 6-11 p.m. on Friday, April 3. The "Crawl" takes attendees through the Visual Arts, Patterson, Theatre Arts, Stuckeman Family and Borland buildings, and for the first time, the Palmer Museum of Art.

Displays of student work in such areas of study as painting, ceramics, sculpture and more, plus hands-on demonstrations, will be featured. Music of multiple genres from 11 local bands, featuring The Buddy System, also will be presented. Enjoy free food, performance art, dance and juggling performances, arts demonstrations and minstrel guided tours.

Arts Crawl is presented by the Students Organizing the Multiple Arts (SOMA) and The Visual Art Student Alliance (VASA).
