Applications available for Special Living Options program assistant

University Park, Pa. -- Applications are now available for 2009-10 Service and Leadership Special Living Options program assistants at University Park. Special Living Options are for first-year students involved in a living, learning community in Tener Hall in East Halls. It is made up of a community of 2- to 6- students interested in service, leadership, social justice and involvement.

Program assistants are a one-year live-in position and is the primary facilitator of the community's programmatic offerings. Overall, the program assistant will work to build a strong, supportive living learning community and engage students on campus and in the community.

All full-time students of sophomore status or above, in good standing with Penn State University Park are eligible to apply. Compensation includes room and board for the 2009-10 academic year.
