Nano Days to show how it's a small world after all

High school students and their families will get a chance to see what nanotechnology is all about at Nano Days at Penn State on Saturday, April 4, at the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel.

Designed to showcase two- and four-year nanotechnology-related degree programs offered across Pennsylvania, Nano Days will offer visitors laboratory tours, hands-on activities, presentations and scholarship details. In addition to high school students and their families, the event is also open to teachers, administrators, guidance counselors and college students.

The free event is sponsored by the Penn State Center for Nanotechnology Education and Utilization (CNEU).

CNEU works with more than 30 colleges and universities across the state that offer nanotechnology-related degrees. Students from these schools come to the CNEU for a semester of hands-on technical training in micro- and nanofabrication as part of their degree program.
