Heard on Campus: Sridhar Anandakrishnan on global warming

"About a year ago, the Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change came out with a report indicating that they are "highly confident that global warming and climate change are due to human-induced hydrocarbon burning. And when scientists are highly confident, you can take it to the bank." - Sridhar Anandakrishnan, associate professor in geosciences and the EMS Earth and Environmental Sciences Institute.

Anandakrishnan hosted the second Research Unplugged conversation of the spring season on Wednesday, April 1. He discussed "Secrets Beneath the Ice: Studying Antarctica’s Glaciers" with an attentive group of colleagues and community members in the gallery of Penn State's Downtown Theatre. A full podcast of the event will be available on iTunesU and the Research|Penn State Web site http://www.rps.psu.edu/ on Monday, April 6.
