Penn State Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence will be sponsoring two sessions focusing on the environment, titled "Sustainability Pedagogy Picnics: Next Steps."
These informal brown bag picnic and brainstorming sessions will be held indoors from noon to 1 p.m. Monday, May 18, in 315 Rider Building, University Park, and outdoors from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, at the North Beaver Picnic Pavilions, University Park. Rain date is May 21.
Polycom locations for the indoor picnics are Brandywine, Erie and Hazleton. Attendees are asked to bring their own beverages and lunch.
Ideas for program and resource development to support educating for environmental sustainability in the coming academic year will be discussed. Ideas for summer course development support also are welcome. To register, go to http://www.schreyerinstitute.psu.edu/Register.
