Faculty invited to apply for Teaching Support Grants

Faculty seeking support for teaching and learning endeavors in undergraduate education are encouraged to apply for Teaching Support Grants offered by the Schreyer Institute for Teaching Excellence.

Project types may include individual projects involving a single course or faculty member, disciplinary community projects involving two or more Penn State locations and multiple faculty members, and interdisciplinary projects involving multiple disciplines, multiple faculty and the students they teach. Each project should focus on one or more of the Schreyer Institute's strategic goals, which include innovative teaching methods, developing new learning materials, assessment of student learning, program assessment, or faculty development.

Project proposals in all areas should address a course or program need, describe methods for assessing the impact of the changes and provide a plan to disseminate findings within Penn State. Application deadline is Oct. 2. For more information, go to http://www.schreyerinstitute.psu.edu/Grants/Support/ or e-mail site@psu.edu.
