Research volunteers needed for blood pressure study

Research volunteers are needed for a study investigating reductions in skin blood flow due to high blood pressure. Researchers are looking for men and women between 40 and 60 years of age. Participants must be in good general health, must not smoke, must not be overweight, must be moderately physically active, cannot be on heart or blood pressure medications, cannot be taking oral contraceptives or hormone replacement therapy, and cannot be pregnant. Volunteer subjects will receive physical, cholesterol and blood pressure data, and monetary compensation will be provided. Four or five visits to the Noll Lab/General Clinical Research Center on the University Park campus will be required. For information contact Susan Beyerle at or call 814-863-8556.
