President's Office holds annual open house

University Park, Pa. -- Hundreds of visitors, students, faculty and staff visited Old Main on Friday, Oct. 2, to chat with Penn State President Graham B. Spanier and Executive Vice President and Provost Rodney Erickson during the annual President's Office Open House on the University Park campus. The Penn State Merriman String Quartet provided musical entertainment in the lobby of Old Main as visitors viewed the frescoes, lined up to tour the bell tour, or waited to tour the President's Office. Inside the Office of the President, the Penn State Performing Magicians entertained guests in the conference room on the way to the offices of the president and executive vice president.
