Students capture Penn State behind the scenes

Students of senior photojournalism lecturer John Beale recently explored the ins and outs of the University Park campus by photographing some of the Penn State employees who work behind the scenes to keep the school running. For several days in early October, two sections of Beale's COMM 269 Introduction to Photojournalism course explored the campus, first looking for interesting jobs and routines done by employees, and then photographing the people in action. Students then selected their best image for critique and final selection. To see a sampling of their work, visit http://live.psu.edu/stilllife/2159 online.
