Associate professor participated in China-America engineering exchange

Kendra Sharp, associate professor of mechanical engineering at Penn State, recently traveled to Beijing and Changsha, China, as part of an invited group of 30 U.S. early-career engineers for participation in the first China-America Frontiers of Engineering (CAFOE) program. The CAFOE program is organized jointly by the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The goal of this bilateral Frontiers of Engineering conference was to convene early-career engineers from academia, industry and other research organizations for focused sessions on technical topics and to facilitate the formal and informal exchange of information between participants and countries.
