Campus holds third annual Flip-a-Five pancake breakfast fundraiser

Penn State Shenango will hold its third annual "Flip-a-Five" pancake breakfast from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 9, in the campus’ Great Hall located in the Sharon Hall building on Penn Avenue in downtown Sharon, Pa. Breakfast includes sausage, milk, juice, coffee, and "all you can eat pancakes." The cost is $5 per person and may be paid at the door. Groups of 10 or more are asked to call a day ahead, if possible, at 724-983-2906, to make a reservation or place an order.

The event is being sponsored by the solicitors of the campus' United Way of Mercer County Campaign committee and the student organization Circle K.

"We encourage members of the community to join us for a tasty breakfast for a terrific cause," said Jim Elder, co-chair of the Penn State Shenango campus United Way Campaign. “The last two years combined we raised well over $1,000 for the United Way. We hope to do even better this year with the community's support."
