Video: Simulation lab breathes life into rural health care training

Penn State, Lewistown Hospital and Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center have partnered to create a training center for health care professionals. The facility comes at a time when the Commonwealth faces a nursing shortage, especially in rural areas. The simulation lab is located inside the Penn State Learning Center in Lewistown. It combines both basic science and clinical skills education. Students will be able to utilize the lab beginning in the spring of 2010.
