Personal Web space application process to be streamlined by ITS

From 5 to 7 a.m. on Jan. 8, during a regularly scheduled maintenance window, Information Technology Services (ITS) will update the Personal Web Space application form/quiz at https://www.work.psu.edu/webspace/ to provide for instant Web space creation upon successful completion of the five-question application quiz. This means that users no longer need to wait the estimated one to three business days for personal Web space creation.

All Penn State students, faculty and staff can apply for personal Web space on the personal server. Students, faculty and staff who request personal Web space will get a "www" folder added to their respective Penn State Access Account Storage Space (PASS) folders. Space allocations for this service no longer apply due to the 10 gigabyte maximum quota available to PASS users. More information about PASS can be found at http://its.psu.edu/PASS/ online. Visit http://its.psu.edu/web.html for Web publishing information, resources and instructions. Inquiries and requests for assistance should be directed to ITS Help Desk staff at helpdesk@psu.edu.
