Lady Lions to hold fourth annual WBCA Pink Zone game

The Penn State Lady Lions will host the Fourth Annual WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State game at 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, at the Bryce Jordan Center. The game raises money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. Tickets to Sunday’s game still are available at the Penn State ticket office for $8 for adults and $5 for youth/students with $2 of every single-game ticket going to the fundraising efforts. Penn State students will receive buy one, get one free tickets to the Illinois game with valid ID.

The official 2010 Pink Zone t-shirt also is still available at Penn State Bookstore locations for $10, with $3 going to charity. This year’s fundraising efforts will benefit the Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund. The first three Pink Zone events have raised more than $83,000 for breast cancer awareness and research, toward the team's goal of $100,000.
