Library offers multiple copies of Centre County Reads selection

Penn State University Libraries' leisure reading collection has multiple copies of "The Maltese Falcon," by Dashiell Hammett, for borrowing. "The Maltese Falcon" is this year's book selection of the Centre County Reads program. The annual read gives community members the opportunity to read, discuss, explore and connect, and offers a number of activities related to the selected book. For more information, visit http://www.centrecountyreads.org/ online.

Penn State's leisure reading collection, located in 113 Pattee Library west, within course reserves, began in 2008 to offer pleasure reading to patrons. In addition to copies of Hammett's book, visitors can enjoy mystery books on display through February. For more information about the collection, contact Anne Behler, information literacy librarian, at 814-863-3832 or acb10@psu.edu.
