The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Commission and the Alumni Society are sponsoring a book sale from March 15 to 20, in room 113 at the campus in Center Valley. The book sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. All proceeds of the sale will benefit the Women's Commission Adult Learner Scholarship and the Alumni Society Campus Enrichment Fund. The book sale is open to the public.
Donations for books will be $1 for selected paperbacks, $2 for selected hardbacks and $5 for volume books. A wide variety of genres will be available at the sale including children's books, fiction, non-fiction, textbooks, cookbooks and volume sets.
In addition, a special silent auction will be held on the first day of the sale for signed books, books of special interest, books of great worth, volumes, encyclopedias and atlases.
