IT Impact Award deadline extended to March 19

March 11, 2010

The deadline for nominations for the Vice Provost for Information Technology Impact Awards program has been extended to March 19. The Impact Award program is designed to recognize the leadership efforts of University-wide IT staff in the following three areas: collaboration, innovation and resource responsibility.

The vice provost for information technology's office is presently seeking nominations for these awards from individuals who work with IT staff throughout Penn State's many colleges and campuses. If you know of IT staff who have demonstrated leadership abilities in one of the three areas above and meet the criteria described at the IT Recognizes Web site, consider nominating them for an IT Impact Award. The IT Recognizes Web site can be found at and contains submission forms, award criteria, program procedures and award amounts.
