Lehigh Valley

Workshop on 'geocaching' to be held April 1

Ever wondered what geocaching is all about? The campus community has the opportunity to learn about and join the worldwide GPS-based treasure hunt by attending a workshop at 12:15 p.m., Thursday, April 1, in room 302 at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus in Center Valley. The event is free and is sponsored by the Faculty Affairs Committee, the Outdoors Club and the Media Commons.

During the workshop, which will be led by Eileen Grodziak, coordinator of Penn State Lehigh Valley's Media Commons, participants can learn what geocaching is, how to find hidden caches, and how to hide a cache. In conjunction with the workshop, the campus will plant a Penn State cache for others to find.

For more information, contact Eileen Grodziak at 610-285-5112 or emg15@psu.edu.
