Students can sign up to compete in North Halls singing competition

University Park, Pa. -- The popular on-campus singing competition "North Idol" is back for its second year with a mission to find what student has the pipes to become the next voice of Penn State.

The event is at 6 p.m. on April 13 at Bluespoon Market in the North Halls Food District. Students can register at Bluespoon during normal business hours, through April 12. Students must be registered to participate.

Prizes for contest winners include a digital camera, a Dr. Pepper mountain bike and many other prizes. Non-singing students can stop by to watch their friends flex their voices, enjoy great food at Bluespoon Market and see who will be crowned the next "North Idol."
