Penn State Career Services now offers online workshops and resources

In today’s technologically savvy world, information needs to be readily available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, especially career information. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), students who use career center resources fare better in the job market than students who do not. In fact, besides Job Choices magazine, NACE found that the most popular resources provided in career libraries and career centers are online links to job-search skills and private-sector career Web sites.

The Career Library at Career Services now offers resources for every student online. Students can find information on occupations and majors, interviewing, resume and cover letting writing, employer literature and more.

Listed below are some of the top online career resources for students. For more information regarding online career resources and handouts, visit the Career Library Web site at http://studentaffairs.psu.edu/career/students/library.shtml or call 814-865-2377 to be connected with the career librarian.
