'We're not worried which platform you want -- in print, on the Web site, in video, on the iPad -- we just want your eyeballs and your interest. ... Part of life at USA Today is to be constantly thinking about other mediums, other tools to use to tell the best stories."

-- John Hillkirk, editor of USA Today, speaking in Hosler Building on Penn State's University Park campus to communications classes on Tuesday, April 13. Hillkirk gave an overview of how USA Today works and stays current during an open question-and-answer session to approximately 70 students. He also spoke Monday night at Kern Building.
