Plan your medical future by making your wishes known

April 14, 2010

As participants in National Health Care Decisions Day on April 16, Penn State Hershey Medical Center experts in the field of bioethics, end-of-life care, and advance care planning will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the rear of the main hospital cafeteria to answer questions about planning your medical future. Educational materials on advance care planning will be available, including Pennsylvania living will documents. A formal, 25-minute presentation and question-and-answer session on advance care planning will take place at noon and again at 1 p.m. In addition to discussing living wills and advance directives, experts will demonstrate their own innovations in advance care planning and discuss ongoing research being conducted at Penn State Hershey.

All medical center and College of Medicine staff, faculty, patients and visitors are welcome to come and learn about advance care planning.
