Volunteers needed for blood pressure study

Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center’s Christopher Sciamanna, M.D., M.P.H., is studying the effectiveness of home blood pressure monitoring and education about hypertension to help lower blood pressure.

Those on high blood pressure medications are invited to volunteer for this research study. Participation includes three office visits and compensation is provided.
Eligible participants are 21-80 years old, diagnosed with high blood pressure, taking medications for high blood pressure and not pregnant or plan to become pregnant in the next three months.

This research study, IRB 32823, has been approved by the Institutional Review Board, under federal regulations at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine.
