University Park, Pa. -- Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 21, for the Penn State debut of the popular a cappella group Straight No Chaser. The male singing group, which started at Indiana University and became famous through a YouTube video, will performsat 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 12, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

Each ticket for the concert is $39 for section one and $29 for section two. A University Park student, with his or her Penn State identification card, is eligible for a $5 discount on one ticket. Purchase tickets online at http://www.cpa.psu.edu/ or by phone at 814-863-0255. Outside the local calling area, dial 800-ARTS-TIX. Tickets also are available at Eisenhower Auditorium (weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Penn State Tickets Downtown in the Downtown Theatre Center (weekdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.).

The group’s newest chart-topping CD -- its first full-length, non-holiday release -- is titled "With a Twist." Following a spring tour of sold-out dates, the group is preparing for a summer residency at Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

Straight No Chaser became a YouTube phenomenon with an original take on “12 Days of Christmas” that interpolated parts of Toto’s “Africa.” From there, the ensemble signed a deal with Atlantic Records.
