Dispatch from New Zealand: Queenstown is ... awesome

Editor's note: The Penn State Glee Club recently embarked upon a trip "Down Under" to perform at various venues in New Zealand. Follow their travels through Dispatches they filed along the way.

Hello from Queenstown, New Zealand! Our apologies for the gap in blog postings. The Internet is difficult to come by these days.

Today is our last day here as we get ready to move on to Greymouth. It’s been a very exciting place to visit. Our guys have done some of the following so far:

* Bungee Jumping
* Hike a couple mountains (Queenstown Hill and Ben Lomond)
* Horseback riding
* Dinner cruise
* Milford Sound outing
* Skydiving
* Touring the town and sampling the local food (Fergburger on more than one occasion for some)

Before we left Christchurch on Friday, we had the opportunity to be featured on New Zealand’s most watched morning news program (equivalent to the Today Show). Check out the video here.

Having a great time altogether. Look out for some pics in the coming days.
