Staff job classification program transition date extended

The transition of all remaining staff jobs from the Staff Position Evaluation and Compensation Program (SPEC) to the Competencies Program is nearing completion, however, the transition date has been extended. The new date for employees to transition is Nov. 1. This extension will allow more time for human resources representatives, directors of business services and management to review the employee SPEC to Competencies mapping information to ensure that each employee is transitioned into the correct job profile and level.
