The Harold and Inge Marcus Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering has announced its undergraduate recipients for departmental scholarships for the 2010-11 academic year.
Each year the department awards more than $100,000 in academic scholarships to outstanding University industrial engineering students based on a variety of criteria.
The 2010-11 scholarship winners are:
- Andrea Amato of Montgomery, Pa., is the recipient of a Richard F. Brown Scholarship in Industrial Engineering and a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Mackenzie Barrett of Pittsburgh, Pa., is the recipient of a John B. and Catherine B. Nelson/McGraw Foundation Endowed Scholarship in Industrial Engineering and the Amos E. Neyhart Scholarship in Industrial Engineering.
- Gabriel Bertini of DuBois, Pa., is the recipient of a John B. and Catherine B. Nelson/McGraw Foundation Endowed Scholarship in Industrial Engineering and a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Julie Bickel of Solon, Ohio, is the recipient of the Inyong Ham Scholarship and the Orlando and Mary Houts Scholarship.
- Lindsay Corey of Rochester, N.Y., is the recipient of the Kenneth S. Moffitt Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship, a Fred W. Montanari Scholarship in Industrial Engineering, and a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Teresa Creech of Clarkston, Mich., is the recipient of an Industrial Engineering Faculty, Staff and Alumni Scholarship.
- Zachary Dale of Selinsgrove, Pa., is the recipient of a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Allen Gaudelli of Rochester, N.Y., is the recipient of a Life Technologies Honors Scholarship in Industrial Engineering at Penn State, the Francis E. Brady Memorial Award and a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Douglas Hejna of Montvale, N.J., is the recipient of a William and Wendy Korb Scholarship in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Susan Jankiewicz of Flemington, N.J., is the recipient of a Life Technologies Honors Scholarship in Industrial Engineering at Penn State and a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Daniel Jeitner of Chalfont, Pa., is the recipient of an Industrial Engineering Faculty, Staff and Alumni Scholarship.
- Vijay Joshi of State College, Pa., is the recipient of a John B. and Catherine B. Nelson/McGraw Foundation Endowed Scholarship in Industrial Engineering.
- Nicholas Kluthe of Wexford, Pa., is the recipient of a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Lauren Knobloch of State College, Pa., is the recipient of a William M. and Pamela M. Ramsey Scholarship in Engineering and the Tracy J. Knott Memorial Award.
- Stephanie Lamont of Baltimore is the recipient of a Harold A. Johnson Scholarship in Industrial Engineering.
- Aitan Lawit of Bala Cynwyd, Pa., the is recipient of a Life Technologies Honors Scholarship in Industrial Engineering at Penn State and a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Emmanuel Mendez of Wexford, Pa., the is recipient of a William and Wendy Korb Scholarship in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Juan Morales of Clearfield, Pa., is the recipient of a John B. and Catherine B. Nelson/McGraw Foundation Endowed Scholarship in Industrial Engineering.
- Steven Nichols of Burnt Hills, N.Y., is the recipient of a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship.
- Nora Nies of Erie, Pa., is the recipient of a Norbert P. Gaelen Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering Scholarship and a William and Wendy Korb Scholarship in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Puravkumar Patel of King of Prussia, Pa., is the recipient of a Richard F. Brown Scholarship in Industrial Engineering and a Harold and Inge Marcus Industrial and Manufacturing Undergraduate Scholarship.
